I burned a DL DVD video without knowing anything about setting the break point manually. I used a HP DVD+R DL disk and Nero and from what I understand Nero will just pick a break point on its own. Some posts here have said they just let the software set the break with no problems, others have suggested that doing this may result in a hitch in the video playback at the point of the break.
What I am wondering is, is there any easy way (other than watch the whole video) for me to find the break point that Nero inserted during the burn so I can scan to that point in the video to see if it has this hitch in it? Thanks for any help.

I am not trying to figure out where to place the break point for a new burn. I have already burned a disk and just want to find out where the layer break point is. (if this is possible)

PLus or minus 5% of halfway thru the disc ??
Supposedly the top half has more data than the second half (requirement)Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn list "the last physical sector in layer 0," (which is the first layer of a dual layer disc) so the layer break comes right after that.

There should be a program out there somewhere that will take you to specified disc sector, but I don't personally know of one.
