    Help with audacity please. Basically when I try to record with my mic, it won't work. is there a special way to make sure it is using my USB device? Or is there basically any way to make it so i can record my voice with my headset.

    Go into your audio control panel and make sure that "mic" isn't on mute and that the volume is up.
