Cutting some mpeg files and losing audio on them

Hi,

I have a strange problem here..I have some mpeg files mpeg2
that seem to play with sound when I play the original files.

But when I cut them into smaller parts using TMPGenc they seem to lose the audio.

What can be causing this? And is it possible to fix using TMPGenc or do I need another software to cut these files while retaining the sound?

tmpgenc sux for mpeg2 cutting. Use videoredo instead or maybe the free mpg2cut2.
