Powerdvd 7 - Plays avis fine but won't play audio on mpegs/vobs. I see from mediainfo that the mpegs use mpeg-1 audio layer 2 (as opposed to mpeg-1 audio layer 3 for avis). I thought it might be a codec problem, but the mpegs/vobs play perfectly in wmp and mpclassic - just not in powerdvd. Any ideas, please?
BTW - what's the difference, in simple terms if possible!, between mpeg-1 audio layer 2 and mpeg-1 audio layer 3?

I'm not sure what PowerDVD is doing, probably a audio setting is wrong. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it if all else fails.
