how to record to vhs?

i have just bought a xms950 works ok until i try to record to vhs anyone help pls ??? :(

that's more then likely due to the protection schemes on the player/dvd. Such as macrovision. Given there isn't a hack on the left for the player that I've seen, you'll have to buy a pass through box that basically does video editing/protection scheme bypassing. I'm not to familiar with these devices so hopefully someone else could give you a good idea of one to buy.
