I recorded some home movie footate into ulead and it has no audio. If i go to the mpeg file and play it there is audio, but not withing ulead. How can i correct this. I believe the dvd was made on a domestic dvd recorder. Thanks

What Ulead software are you using (be specific on program name and version number, and also if there are other letters attached to the name such as "SE" or "LE" etc...).
Some of their programs do not include Dolby Digital audio (decoding and/or encoding). I suspect your source video has DD Audio, and your Ulead software does not support that audio format. If you download the Trial versions of VideoStudio or MovieFactory, they might include the DD Audio decoder/encoder plugin.

Good chance the version you listed does not have AC3 audio, and I don't know if there was a plugin available for that version. You wouldn't want to buy it anyway, since you can get Ulead's more recent version that includes AC3 audio.
In the TOOLS section here, there might be a free AC3 Filter. This might allow you to hear the audio, but you won't be able to render with AC3 audio.
