  1. I have a divx avi movie I would like to show my kids. The problem is that there are a couple of sex scenes I don't want them to see that I want to cut out. Otherwise the movie is fine.

Can someone advise how to cut out part of an AVI movie. I have Adobe Premiere 6.5 that I hardly use. I don't know if that will do it. I don't know what to render the film in once I'm through. Couldn't I just cut out the film clips without the long hours of rendering?

you could just tell them not to look or explain what sex is and why people get hung up on sex in a movie but showing massive violence is ok

you can just use virtualdub and cut the sections out without re-encoding....

  3. Thank you for the information and quick reply. And I completely agree with you. But there have been problems in school where other kids have reported what they have seen at home and school officials quickly contacted social services. I don't want to be a victim of such a lynching.
