    Hi,

    i want to convert a DVD to AVI (no divx/xvid) to edit in Pinnacle software. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

    I haven't found any easy software for this, I would like to see a very simple dvd to dv-avi software. For now I would use vob2mpg and open the mpg in virtualdubmpeg2 and save as dv-avi.

    But doesn't latest Pinnacle support dvd editing directly? If not try use vob2mpg and import the mpg directly in Pinnacle.

    Or the best solution, use another tool that is better for editing dvd/mpeg2 like mpeg video wizard, tmpgenc dvd author, ulead dvd moviefactory, ulead dvd workshop.
