Hi, I just got the Hauppauge WinTV HVR 1600 tuner for my computer. I use this antenna. I don't get analog channels too well but that is just how it is going to be.
Digital though, are another story. Some digitals play fine without jerkyness, but some do. Why is that? I looked in the manual and found out about the "Primary.exe". I change the setting to "Force Primary" and that helps the channels that wern't working befeore. No more jerkyness. (i get 2 strong digital signals, but they won't show up at all unless it is on "force Primary" setting. But, what happens is the aspect ratio or whatever is messed up now. Most of the digital channels are squeezed so it is more long than wide. Is that happening because of the program itself or what? Can someone please help me?
Let me know if you want some screen caps or if you have questions....
Thanks.
Michael
