Batch converting from 4:3 to 16:9 tool

I have a ton of 4:3 Jumbacks as well as many non looping backgrounds in Mov and Avi.

I want to convert them preferably by simply distorting or resizing to the widescreen aspect ratio. I've been able to do that with some tools but they require I convert each individual file one at a time. Is there a tool free or otherwise that would let me batch convert a bunch of these background clips in one sitting?
