  1. I have some XviD files with 2 separate MP3 audio tracks (different languages).

I'd like to remove "Audio Track 0", leaving just "Audio Track 1" without affecting the video or Audio Track 1.

Is there a quick-n-easy way to do such surgery?

You can also try VirtualDubMod - just pick Stream List from the Streams menu, and you'll be able to add or delete audio streams from there.

Virtualdubmod: Streams->StreamList. Click on the track you don't want, and click on Disable. Click OK. File->Save As to save a new copy sans audio disabled track. Make sure video and audio are set to Direct Stream Copy.

AVIDemux: Load the video. Audio->Main Track or Second Track. Set to No Audio. make sure Video and Audio are set to Copy, and then go File->Save->Save Video to save a new copy.

Sorry about that. I didn't see that you were using Linux.

It's probably possible to use VirtualDubMod through Wine, though.
