I'm recording videos with my logitech webcam.
I don't know what the file extention of these videos are, because under properties the type of file is displayed as "video clip"
What I need to do is turn this into a VOB or SOMETHING I can work with.
I'm using the VOB sub program to clip out the important part of this video and leave out the excess. There may even be a better way that I am not sure about.
Windows movie maker is out of the question - it's a long story.

Thanks for the fast reply Zippy
The file type is AVI
What I am trying to do, is simply cut out, the intro and ending of the video, as it is a long video and I want to focus on the center peice.
The program I googled up to do this is VOB sub. This program requires that the file be in VOB format for me to be able to cut out the excess parts.
Perhaps there is a better program to use? -

THen you get a new avi file that you can convert to whatever format you like.
