Hi,
I've got an AVI (Xvid) file that is 4.19 GB in size and a DVD quality picture.
Do I understand right that to convert it to NTSC DVD I have to put it through Procoder as any other AVI file?
Thanks.

You may end up with a huge file if you want to preserve the quality in MPEG format.
Of course this all depends on the original format and the running time. If it's a HD video, you may have to compress it quite a bit to get it on a single DVD.
You should be able to convert it with quite a few tools, Procoder included. As long as it accepts the video and audio formats of the file.
You mention NTSC. Do you need to also convert from PAL<>NTSC?
If it has VBR audio, such as a MP3 VBR, you may also need some further repair to minimise any playback or sync problems. -
Thanks.
The file is NTSC. It looks like the audio is not VBR as when I open it in VirtualDubMod, it does not give any errors.
