  1. Dear forum
A friend had a vhs videotape and managed to make a dvd-video from it that could be watched on television using a standalone dvd player.

The quality is quite good, except that the sound volume level is a bit lower than I would like (even when you turn the sound up on the TV)

Since I am a bit hard of hearing this is more than a nuisance. Therefore I would like to know if there is anyway one can produce the same dvd but with higher sound level

Any help would be appreciated please
    Ian

You can increase the volume on your computer and then reburn it on a new dvd.

  3. HI Thank you for this prompt reply!
I shall ask him to do this using the original mpeg file he used when he authored the dvd and then once the sound is higher he will be able to re-author it.
On the dvd the sound was a little out of sync with the video - please do you know how he might fix this also
    Thank you
    Ian
