Hello, brand new to the forum. I have looked EVERYWHERE for a HowTo to my question but am totally lost. I hope you can help.

Here it is. I am trying to burn a 2 CD (2 XVID avi files, CD1 and CD2) that is in a foreign language. Included is a folder with subtitiles, one for each CD. It contains an .idx file and a .sub file for each CD.

How do I burn this onto a DVD that can be played on a regular DVD player complete with subtitiles?

I have Nero 7 among other burning programs.

Thank you SO MUCH for your help.

    Welcome to VideoHelp!

convertx2dvd - or get a DVD player that supports DivX/XviD AVI (the cost is about the same for both alternatives)
...or Select AVI to DVD under CONVERT left, and start reading guides.

You can join the videos easily with AVIDemux. Subs are a bit trickier. If you can load them into Subtitle Workshop you can adjust the second CD to match the delay of the first CD's running time, and then add them in when encoding or burning as avi. I have done this successfully with .srt format subs, but I haven't tried it with others.
