    Okay i'm new to this but i have just got a DVD player and it does plays VCD/SVCD/XVCD/XSVCD. i also have a load of MOV files that i would like to put on VCD any ides what program i should use coz i have no idea, oh and don't say TMPGEnc it does not work even with the mov plugin that is in the tools section.

    TMPEGenc works for me.....Use the mov plug-in and up the priority (I believe you do this in the Environmental Settings). The only glitch I had was it seems to freeze at 100%, it encodes fine just won't let you close the prog unless you Task Manager:End Task. Good luck if this doesn't work.

    open your MOV in quicktime and export as an AVI... no there is nothing you cant do!
