I'm learning how to use Nero Vision to back up full DVDs. This was recommended to me, because a few of the DVDs are PAL & I'd like to switch them to NTSC. Anyway, I've got the basic idea... however there's one BIG catch. I can't figure out how to keep all the menus and titles in sync like the original disc. I see that they all there, but on the final product they all play consecutively... there's no choosing chapters or scenes or even selecting from the menus... they all just play through to the next title or menu. Can this program give me a backup that plays THE SAME as the original? If not what programs will?

NeroVision is not for backing up DVD. Nero recode is. However Recode will not switch formats. PAL to NTSC is not trivial, and should be left up to a low quality program like NeroVision.

If you do want to change PAL to NTSC and keep everything (and have good quality as well) then you should read this guide : https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=300144 through to the end (it refines itself along the way). You can apply this to pretty much any good mpeg-2 encoder. Try HCEnc - it's free and very good.
