    Howdy,
Sometimes I like to slow down video for the funny sounds you can get, but now is not one of those times. I'm trying to burn a 122 minute DVD to a regular 4.7GB DVD using Pinnacle Studio 10.7 Plus and the DVD I've produced so far has that "deep, slow, and hairy" sound to it. The video plays and looks fine, but the audio stinks. What can I do to fix it? I've got it set to "automatic quality" with PCM audio running at around 3212k/bit. Is that my problem?

    Cheers,
    Tyler <><

What happens if you try using AC3 / Dolby audio instead?

Or, if you don't have that activated in Studio, have you tried using Mpeg audio?

Maybe it is something in the way Studio is handling the burn ---
Have you used "Create Disk, Don't Burn" (or whatever the wording is) and checked if the audio playback from your hard-drive is bad?
( I could never get a useable burn from Studio, and always created the files on my drive, then burned with ImgBurn)

hmmm, I activated the AC3 and it's still happening. I burned the DVD and gave it to my customer( who, thankfully, is a greatly understanding friend ) before I had time to test it, but I played the files on my hard drive after I came back home and they were still slowwwww... Any suggestions? :-\ It has done some nice DVDs in the past, though none this long. Do I need to switch programs?

I contacted the Pinnacle Live Help and they recommended that I create the disc content and then test it on my hard drive. I had already done this, but after deleting the old render and freshly rendering again with AC3 audio, the problem was gone. I then sucessfully burned a copy with the Studio 10 DVD authoring program.

Glory be to God! Yet another problem fixed.
