    Actually i was wondering if after converting the(700MB) avi files i have to Dvd Quality would that really increase the quality of image ? or were the avi files already lost alot of info in the compression that the converting wont get it back !

    In other words Is it possible to get a better quality file from a least quality file ! if yes plz tell me how ..

    Actually am new to these stuff really dnt know if i have the right idea ...

    You won't improve quality by encoding a poor quality file into a DVD. Once details have been discarded by an encoder, they can't be retrieved from the encoded file anymore.
