What can I use to convert a DVD into an avi or mpeg (or anything that Adobe Premiere Elements recognizes)? I want to be able to edit a DVD that I burned on my set top DVD burner. I have:
ImToo MOV converter 3
ImToo DVD Ripper Platinum 4
ImToo DVD Ripper 4
DVD Shrink 3.2
Nero 6
but I don't know if any will do it or the procedure - let me know, thanks, Wendy.

Elements works best with DV avi, so I would use virtualdubmpeg2 to open the VOBs, and to save the video out as DV avi using the Panasonic DV codec
