Can anyone help me on this small matter.
I downloaded 2 parts of Behind enemy lines, it looks like it was recorded in Widescreen format. The reason I say this is, because when you view the file when the credits come on the screen they are kinda streched out and curved around.
My queston is, is there any way to encode this so that the screen is flat and the credits lay flat across the screen so you get a better quailty picture. I have tried several of the sizes right from 352X240 and up and even down and when you preview it, it looks the same every time. I have even tried setting the aspect ratio different and the source aspect different to see the differences, and again the same every time.
The movie when played on my DVD player kinda looks like it is playing a bitter jittery and not smooth like it should be, even looks like this on the windows media player on my PC. The movie when I encoded it is playable.
Is this due to the source or can it be edited to be better. I have tried many things in TMPGEnc to improve this.
I have even tried to get other behind enemy lines avi's from the net, they all look like they are the same ones!! Is there any other sources I can get this movie and others from?? I have tried kazza, morpheus, imesh, winmx (almost impossibe to get anything from this site!!).
Thanks in advance Andrew.
