TrendSetters
I've been experimenting with the SubTitle Filter in TMPGenc, and have no problem getting them to appear at the correct times, etc.
But they seem to always be "switched on". In other words, regardless of the sub button on the DVD remote, the subtitles remain on screen.
What am I missing, and is there any way to have them "switchable" on and off ??
TIA

Not with tmpgenc xpress. You add switchable subtitles when you author the dvd so you need a dvd authoring tool with subtitle support like dvd-lab pro, ulead dvd workshop, guifordvdauthor or an all-in-one tool like ConvertXtoDVD, DVD-Flick.

Sooo, Tmpenc Express gives you permanent text on video, with no way the user can turn it off, if I read you correctly
