Hey guys. I've got a little dilemma here.
I'm using PowerDVD 6.5 to play back my HD-DVDs, but I want to use the CoreAVC decoder to handle other h./x264 file that I create/download because the processor usage and image quality is much, MUCH better.
The problem is that the Cyberlink decoder takes over from the CoreAVC decoder for ALL DirectShow 264 playback (Zoom Player), and I can't figure out a way around this.
Any suggestions?

I was able to lower the merit of the Cyberlink h.264 AVC filter to "do not use" and raised the merit of the CoreAVC filter to "Normal +1" using the Radlight Filter Manager version 1.4.
This seems to have worked, as I can still play HD-DVDs with PowerDVD 6.5 while my other 264 files will play in Media Player Classic using the CoreAVC decoder.
However, now Zoom Player seems to be broken. It won't play ANY media file and just hangs when I try to load one. I'll have to troubleshoot this s bit more.
But the important thing is that it works. Thanks for the tip!
Update: Reinstalling the latest Zoom Player fixed it. Now everything works perfectly!
