  1. Hi guys
Is it possible to use ripbot with coreavc instead of ffmpeg? i'm having coreavc in my pc and strongly feel it works much better compared to ffmpeg (i used to have ffmpeg before). Now this ripbot won't install unless i install ffmpeg. any ideas?

  2. CoreAVC doesn't decode any differently from ffmpeg, so it wouldn't improve the encode quality anyway. Any decoder decodes the same image, unless it's buggy.

I have CoreAVC, RipBot and ffmpeg on the same PC and haven't noticed any conflicts or problems.

I think to have RipBot use CoreAVC instead of ffmpeg, you would have to rewrite the RipBot script that runs the program.
