help with logos

hello i need to create some logos and introduce in some videos
i have is any way to create those logos nothing fancy and mixing with the video
like they fade in and out in any time, if yes what is need in orther to create it and
software is good for that the authoring software i have is nero 7 idon't know if is good for
what i trying to do
any help will be apreciate

The best way to mix any kind of graphic image with video is with a non-linear editor. My recommendation is Sony Vegas Movie Studio. At anywhere from $50 - $100 it's a steal and way more flexible and capable than Nero's editor.

For creating graphics I use GIMP, a completely free-of-charge image editor that for most people is just as powerful as Adobe Photoshop. Oh, did I mention it's FREE? The GUI scares some people away but if you can stick with it for a short time it will pay off.
