one version of the title could be in widescreen and the other in fullscreen.

You can preview them in Shrink, but if you still can't tell any difference, I usually 'roll the dice' and pick Title 1. That should be the right one the vast majority of the time, at least with most US DVDs.

Sounds as though another pesky multi angle vst has appeared ... keep them coming .

DO NOT ... use dvdshrink on these before you have corrected the problem before hand ... I am telling you will stuff it up .

It's game over if you dont have the original disk if you have already done this ... cause while I can fix it , you have already lost so much bitrate in the video ... and possibly combined the two together ... it's so screwed up ... only a season'd fruit basket like myself could pull it apart and rebuild it .

Load the dvd in pgcedit , let it finish the scan , then double click on the title that show's the problem to bring up the chapter list window .
Smack bang down below , to the left of center is "del angle's" ... man , I may have been going the long way about this .

Pick the angle that is not required ... it's not the first 1 ... but dont hold my word on that because you know what's going to happen next by the producer's ... that's right ... they'll do thing's my way ... and you'll have to go the long way round .

There's spy's around here you know

Now , what was the question ... that's right ... I think it said del or move it in the next box ... move it is safer (for me its aka the sod) .

Now save dvd and play it back ... if all is well , go to where the dvd was saved to , and delete the pgcedit folder before you burn it to dvd .

Or tinker it down , now with dvdshrink ... it wont screw up this time round .

In simple term's you say ... well here's a cut down version .

1: Load the dvd in pgcedit .
2: Let it finish the scan , then close the box , leaving pgcedit with the loaded dvd .
3: Then locate the main title (it will display time playback length of main title) .
4: Double click on the title (the one with issue) .
5: Down below in the new window that has appeared will be a button with "del angle's" .
6: Pick the angle that is not required ... (normally it's the second one).
7: Next box has "move" or "del" option's ... best to "move" it (safer) .

    8: Now save dvd .
    9: Play it back .
10: If all is well go to where the dvd was saved too .
11: Delete the pgcedit folder hiding here .
12: Burn the remaining content to dvd .

Use dvdshrink to shrink a little if required prior to burn .

    ==========

Few dvd's released use various screw up trick's where dual title appear's ... "up the creek" is a good example ...

One real movie title with a second angle of junk ... one too learn from .
