Hello all. I think this is the correct place for this post. Sorry if it isn't.
I just hooked up my S-video cord to my vid. card and my TV. I went into properties and under settings I have set up the 2nd display as my TV. Easy so far. But when I do this, I only see my desktop wallpaper, and nothing else displays when I run it on my CPU. How do I get everything that I play on my desktop to show on my TV? I know this is probably a very general question, so if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be very greatly appretiated. Thank you!!

Sounds like you have extended the desktop to the second display.
If you want the second display to be exactly the same as the main one, turn off the extended desktop. You may need to select a "clone" mode.
It might also help to know what graphics card you have.John Miller -
Yes, I have 'Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor' checked. Should i not? How do i enable clone mode.
BTW- I have a 128 mb ATI Radeon x600 SE -
It depends on your hardware. For my nVidia card, I use the nVidia software to select clone mode. On laptops, it's simple (a keyboard function does it).
Have a look in the ATI documentation or software configuration. Often ATI adds a load of tabs to the Display Properties that you can get to by right-clicking on the Desktop on choosing Properties...John Miller
