Hi,
Does it exist some downloadable calibration video for a PAL TV ??
Most importants would be color saturation, brigthness and contrast. My CRT TV is now quite old (1998) and I sometimes the white seems to bright.

Look at some of your DVDs. Many now carry the THX optimiser which will help you do most of this. Pixar discs all have it, as do the Star Wars discs. About the only thing missing is the blue filter required for the final colour calibration.
