Im trying to convert an mpegII to avi using vdubmod/vdubmpeg, ive tried this with the filter i want and once without the filter. When i save the avi and play it back the audio acts up. It sounds real slow, sounds like it stutters. Im thinking its something with the original video, if so is there a way to fix it without compressing it.
    - the video in general is fine otherwise. The problem is when i use vdub to preview the file and when i save it as an avi

You cannot do this in preview mode ... vdub / vmod will display audio drag / sync during preview the long it play's the clip ... this gose for filter's esspecially .

    What filter ?

    Set audio to full processing
    Set audio compression to none
    Set audio conversion to 41khz , 16bit , stereo
    Save as wav

The wav is then brought in , reset audio to full processing , reset audio compression required ... then chose video filters , then required codec for compression ... save as avi .

Just dont do video fps conversion's here either .

    For dvd it's 48khz .

What avi codec is being used for compression ?

Im using the following filters MSU_denoiser, MSU_Deblock, resize
    I use huffy for compression.
I followed your steps but now the problem is sever audio sync problems.
Im looking into this problem but i cant seem to fix it. If you have any ideas of how to fix the audio sync. I notice its out of sync when i play the file in my media player.
    Appreciate the help
