Hi! What a great forum! Full of useful tips!

    I have a question!

I have two identical videos, they only differ because of a logo, Video 1 has a logo bottom-right, Video 2 has a logo top-right.
Now, which software would you recommend to join/mix both videos so I can get a final video with no logo?
Basically, I need to choose a primary video among the two videos, and then select an area to be taken from the second video, so I get Video 1 without its logo, even using a bit of HSV adjusting to exactly match colors and brightness.
I hope you understand what I mean.
    Thank you!

    One way that might work:....

Create a transparent photo file and fill all "but" the top right corner with 255 blue. Load this photo file into the overlay track of Ulead VideoStudio's timeline, then load the 1st video into the main track (the one with the good top right corner). The good top right corner will show through the transparent patch and the rest of the video will now be blued out. Save as uncompressed avi.

Load the unedited video (the one with the logo in the top right corner) onto the timeline of Ulead VideoStudio, then load the edited video (the one with blue everywhere except the top right corner) into the overlay track. Set Ulead VideoStudio to chroma-key the blue and make it transparent. The transparent will let the underlying video show through everywhere except where the overlayed video is now hidding the logo.

    Problems you might have:
    1. The color/gamma/etc of the 2 videos do not match that well and the logo patch shows up.
    2. Your version of Ulead may not automatically show-through the transparent portion so you would need to enable Chroma-key and select White to be transparent. (the transparent portion may show up as white). This white may leave a light residue on the lower video.
    3. Accurate line up of the two layers.

    Good luck.
