I used Microsoft Photo Story to make a picture slide show. I saved it using the highest setting. I recorded it using my Gigabite DVD +/- RW. When I watch in on my TV some of the pictures are wavy (seem to have a motion in the picture). I can't figure out what I might have done wrong. I recorded it twice, first using the automatic recording speed and then again using a 2X speed. Actually the automatic is better but not good. I would appreciate any suggestions to remove the wave. Thank you

Without seeing it, it is hard to tell what's going on. One thing to note - the built-in templates for both Photostory and WMM are pretty awful. Papa John's site (papajohn.org) has better output templates for both, and they do make a hell of a difference to the image quality you get.

I will take a look at papajohn.org but don't think that is my problem. I made the video using Photo Story but recorded it to DVD using Nero (which I should have said). Thanks for the reply.

I suspect you have a combination of lower than expected quality output from photostory, badly re-encoded by Nero. Start by using Papa John's templates to get higher quality (and DVD resolution) output from photostory, then use anything but Nero to encode and burn. I would suggest a good standalone encoder, but ig you have Vegas or similar, that will do a much better job than Nero.
