On one avi file I have seen, the picture becomes distorted with wavy lines when there is movement in the video.
A bit like can be seen in this .jpg screen capture, of the man in the white shirt who is walking on the right-hand side of the picture: http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/6053/wavylines.jpg
Can this be removed?
Someone suggested using the deinterlace filter in Virtualdub, I tried this but the resultant .avi didn't seem any better.
