hello,
i have a long video in divx format (avi), and i would like to create checkpoints, so whenever i open it again, i can just jump to a certain point in the video. it would be even better if i can write the checkpoint's name.
i'm using media player classic
is there a way to do it? if so, how?
thanks
tom

If you use the latest divx 6 codec and their encoder tool, you should be able to set chapter points. Check out divx.com

No. You need to use Divx's encoder and player if you want to use the advanced features like menus and chapters. There may be a few other encoders and players that support the features but I don't know of any.Originally Posted by tomchook
