Hi,Been using this program for a couple of years now, never had any problems, and always read the guides on this site which are great, but for some reason it has stopped working, once i go through everything, and finally hit 'save',another box would open up,and you could see the progress, but now when i hit 'save',nothing happens,no box, nothing.I have recently installed some new codecs and E.O Video, and was wondering if maybe one of those is conflicting with virtual dubmod?

You could save out your filters from the programs 'PLUGINS' folder, then delete VDM and install a fresh version from a DL. Put your filters back into the new 'PLUGINS' folder. That should reset everything. It should also reregister the available codecs. I have never had anything interfere with the program, but anything is possible.

Or maybe: VD and VDM does have some registry entries. Do a search with regedit using 'virtualdub' and you should find them. But I don't know that they would cause your problem.

Thanks for your help,i had previously deleted it and re-downloaded it,but tried again and deleted the registry files, but it's still not working, however when i just tried it,it placed a 'VirtualDubMod.jobs' file in my VDM folder,so i can now get it to work, but only by going through the 'job' way,do you know how i can stop it from making it a 'job' and converting it straight away?
    Thanks again.

  6. On the "Save As..." dialog uncheck the "Don't run the job now..." option.
