Why when I convert avi to vcd it turns it into a Mpeg file instead of a vcd? Errr I am so pissed. I have winavi but everytime I choose to convert an avi file to vcd it turns it into a mpeg FIle! How do I change this.
    Thanks

  2. MPG 1 is used on VCD. Now you have to use some VCD mastering package to create and burn the VCD.

  3. Set Nero or Roxio up for VCD, and drag the mpeg1 file into the work pane, and burn. If your mpeg1 is not VCD compilance, Nero or .. will tell you.

it probably converted to vcd specs of an mpeg1. Use vcdgear to create the cue/bin(VCD image) files to burn.

See the manual of the cd burning software that came with your burner. If it can burn a video cd, load your mpg into TMPGEnc -File-mpeg tools-multiplex tab-type-select MPEG-1 Video Cd-load your mpg files and remultiplex. Select video cd in burning software and load the remultiplexed mpg files. Burn on a CD-RW and check in your apex.

  8. From Nero Burnging ROM's New Compilation wizard, select CD -> Video CD then press New. Add your MPEG1 file to the complition, burn to CD.
