    when i try to use my dvd rw discs or cd rw discs nero dosnt recognize them.what can i do??/
    if i try burning its the same only recognized as dvd rom

    Maybe check lut your DVD burner manufacturer's website and look for any firmware upgrades ?

    You don't need to do anything with the driver; the firmware tells the drive things like what the max speed of any given media is, based on the media code. As new media codes come out, so do firmware updates so that you can continue to use your old burner on new media.
