I'm working on a PC that has slowed way down. It is a real dog. ACER, 200FSB, 512K RAM, 1.8 Sempron AMP, XP Home. The 512K shows in CPU-Z. Only 448K show in the XP Control Panel; System Properties; General! I have never seen this before. I ordered 2 gig of RAM and will be tossing the 512K stick. I have never seen XP not recognize all the RAM on the low end.

Yes integrated graphics. No video card. Graphics on the mother board. I have never worked with integrated graphics before.

Thanks. That explains it. Another question. These people have a voluminous slideshow screensaver. Is that slowing things down?
