i have an mpeg file ,if i watch it on any number of programmes it plays perfectly well and in sync, however ever time i use TMPGEnc DVD author to make a dvd of this file the audio goes out of synch around 9 mins into the file.
I had made hundreds of DVDs this way and never encountered this problem before..
Any suggestions would be most welcomed

The mpeg is probably "broken" even if it's playable.
Try repair/fix the mpeg file with videoredo -> quickstream fix.
Or use projectx or pvastrumento and fix it by demultiplexing it to video and audio files and then import they in TDA. -
i did the quickstream fix with video redo...it only took 10 seconds...and produced a 4kb sized file does that sound correct?
