Hallo,
downloaded a videofile with ending .flv
downloaded and installed also a player
RifaFLVPlayer
The file worked with this player fine.
But after ending windows98 first edition and starting again the next day, it does not work.
I hear the sound, but no video, nothing to see.
Is it due to windows 98? speed 266 Mhz, 64 RAM.
Is RifaFLVPlayer only for windows XP?
Why worked rhight after download and no more after closing and starting windows98?
What can I do?
Also downloaded and installed the RivaFLVEncoder2.0
I tried all, but no encoding to mpg.
Pressing encode, the encoder hangs up.
I find in the output a file, but this has the content cero.
Does not work.
What can I do?
Am I excluded from playing a flv file with windows 98, first edition?
Thanks

Google for flash video player like http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_Video_Player
You can also try media Player Classic, flvsplitter and latest ffdshow....but not sure about win98 compatibility
