Many players have trouble with .sub format...try converting the files to srt.

It is often a matter of getting your files to work with the player...not getting the player to work with your files.

Nice ... I like your answer ... I've got the AVP 5960 ... If I have to I will rename the avi movies to make sense.

I was surprised awhile back ... I have the movie ... Unbreakable in avi format on CD.

I made it quite a few years ago ... and it played great with no hiccups. When I opened up the browser ... Unbreakable.avi ... was completely displayed.

But in another CD I had ... left over from years ago ... some stuff I tried ... the folder ... that the movie was in ... was showing the name completely but the name of the movie was abbreviated.

So if this happens ... I know now I can just make a folder displaying the title of the movie and not worry about what movie is what on the disk.
