I know its older but it works (worked) for me. Anyway, I added 4 projects as chapters in my video. 2 chapters are just video+audio(from DV) & the other two are a JPEG slide show with an added MP3 audio track. WHEN PREVIEWING, MY PROJECT LOOKS EXCELLENT. However, when burning, I only get video on the 2 non-MP3 chapters with the 2 MP3 chapters being perfect. I tried changing the preferences from LPCM Audio to MPEG with 224 kps, both with same result. I checked the folders and there are no audio files after converting. I've already made 2 coasters. Any advice I've used Videostudio before- first time this happened.

Try encoding the JPeg slide show + audio to MPeg2 before entering the "Create Disc" DVD menu. Then import the MPeg2 file from the "add video" button.

    Hi Ed,

    1) shouldn't VS automatically encode the slideshow & video's to mpeg during the conversion stage?

    2) the slideshow+audio project(chapter) authors perfectly to DVD. It's the DV video project(chapter) portion that has no audio.

    Thanks

    Oh, I read it backwards.

    You have found a bug.

It "should" do it but since it doesn't you can encode the DV chapters separately and import them into the DVD authoring as MPeg2.
