Auto GK DVD to AVI (Audio Sync Issues)

Using DVD Decrypter i have ripped (In IFO Mode) all files from DVD to PC.
When loading the files into Auto GK i get this error 'Error Parsing IFO File'
I then changed the mode on DVD Decrypter to 'File Mode' and only extracted that IFO file.
I then placed that IFO file as a replacement to the other one into the VIDEO_TS dir.
It then loaded fine.
As the audio i chose the default which is Audio 2CH.
Once it finished encoded the sound was out of sync by quite far on the result.
It's wierd because when i played the extracted VOB files sound was fine it was completely in sync.

What is the cause of this?

May be a DVD that needs fixing with FixVTS? Ripping main title only in ifo mode is what I usually do.

How can ripping the main title in IFO mode be done?
Will it still recognise the other VOB files?
How would i irp the main title?

I don't have DVDDecrypter in front of me, but I think it's pretty evident what to check and uncheck if you switch to IFO mode.
Also, set file splitting to None, to get it as one single VOB.

I'm not quite sure what to unchceck.
The way i do it is by selecting the longest one (2:17) which is the film duration so i just go with that one on ifo mode.
What should i do?

In my experience with DVD Decrypter and AutoGK, I've found that you cannot specify the IFO file when using AutoGK.

This:

VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB
VTS_01_5.VOB

Is what a typical folder contains when I rip a DVD (in this case, it's a Simpsons episode). I normally specify VTS_01_1.VOB as the source in AutoGK. I specify the output location and filename, adjust settings as I need, and start the encode.

That's not a Simpsons episode. That's several Simpsons episodes, and, of course, one vob doesn't correspond to one episode. As stated above, use DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode to decrypt an episode at a time. Some (few, though) DVDs have all the episodes of a series in a single PGC in a single VTS. In such cases, you decrypt the number of chapters that corresponds to each episode.

AutoGK has problems when there are several PGCs within the same VTS, whether it's episodes, or a movie and other stuff like logos and/or extras. Just choosing the IFO is liable to get you everything, when all you want is the movie or episode. That's why you have to decrypt using IFO Mode. File Mode, while it works sometimes, other times doesn't.
