  1. I have a Sony DVP NS315 plays all my movies ripped or otherwise I use DVDFab, DVD shirk and ImgTool. So I decide to download a DVD off uTorrent. I have winrared the file and burn the image with Nero express 6, DVD decrypter, ImgBurn. None of these will play on my Sony DVD player but work fine on my computer DVD player. What am I doing wrong? The Sony player says, “Cannot Play” If I inspect the files they look the same as any other DVD I have. I have even gone as far as to DVD Decrypt the new burnt DVD ensure the disk is not protected (RCE) reauthored it and burnt it once again with the same result.

Simple answer - don't download DVD's from Bit Torrent.

I agree Don't Download DVD's. Since this is your first post, I will give you a possible answer.

Sounds like a PAL DVD and your playing it on a machine that can only Play NTSC DVD's.

If you have Powerdvd, you can load the DVD then in one of the Properties page it will show if it is PAL or NTSC.

Use Media Player Classic, Open it up and Click on View, then Information. If the DVD is 720 x 576 then it is PAL, if it is 720 x 480 then it is NTSC. Good Luck
