Hello I am a registered lover of your product VOB2MPG ( 2YT450573F144424N paypal transaction)

My home DVD's were converted to mpegs and will play perfectly on RealPlayer. They play on Windows Media Player (but have a warning PopUp saying "This pin cannot use the supplied media type" displayed OVER the playing mpeg!)

I have an issue that neither MOVICA nor Windows Movie Maker can read the MPEG. In Windows Movie Maker it's just black but sound is there and in MOVICA it says "This pin cannot use the supplied media type"

I saw in your earlier threads reference to VOB2MPG_PTSFIX.zip however that link is now not working.

I am a 51 year old grunt and not at all savvy with the techno babble, so please consider this in your reply.

Probably I will be one of thousands asking how to...

Edit bits of unwanted footage (like you kid digging a huge booger from his nose whilst on stage, or your wife yelling at the neighbour next door while you are filming her fat arse by mistake) from a VOB file REALLY easily (& cost effectivly) with a result that can still be played on a home entertainment DVD player rather than a computer.

Once again, thank you for your product!

I would recommend VideReDo for this process.

As to your other issues, have you tried using WMP or MPC to play the mpegs?

    Thank you Jikchung.

    I will investigate VideReDo

My main concern with the MPEGs is to be able to edit them. I have a race car and 30 minutes of car going around is booring, so I want to edit out the rubbish and post it to my web site.

I sort of have 2 needs, but right now I want to know why my MPEG conversions are not playing on any editor.

  4. VideoReDo should handle it, unfortunately it's not freeware but it's well worth the cost if you have a lot of video to do. I think it's free for 15 days if you just have a couple quick projects. It works fine for me on VOB files or on VOB2MPG conversions.
