    I bought a Tevion DVD Recorder. It plays commercial DVDs fine but I have a large collection of backups and with them although I can hear the music there is practically no dialogue, just a sort of muffled version. It will also allow selection of Director's comment. Am I screwed?

    I have a Tevion Player and the last Xvid file I tried to play was the same. I think its to do with the AC3 sound? or a too high bit rate on the audio.
