  1. Hi,

I''m basically a DVD burning noob. Up to this point I've bearnt for years VCDs/SVCDs, but now switching to DVD burning.

I've read a few guides(all outdated), searched the forum, but didn't find one solution for what I want to do.

I would like for someone to direct me, or give instructions, or advice on how to burn multiple AVIs/DIVX on one DVD. What's the best way to go about it?

Any help would be much appereciated.

ConvertXtoDVD if you want them in DVD format. However is quality is of concern, don't put more than 3 hours on a disc.

If you must put more than three hours on a disc, then you need to leran how to encode with a stand-alone encoder. There ar eplenty of guides for this. You can encode at half-d1 resolution and get 4- 5 hours to a disc.

The best option by far is to buy a Divx certified player, and you can then burn 10 - 11 hours of Divx/Xvid avi without re-encoding, but using the data disc option.
