  1. i hav file size of 288mb of wmv format. i use TMPGenc to convert it to mpeg and then fit it to vcd.with default settings.. the file reach to 1.94gb in mpeg file.why it so big but running hour just 1hr 10m ??is posibble for me to fit in 1vcd ?i can accept for lower quality

    Look at the top left corner of this site for What is VCD. You must have used a non-VCD bitrate for the file to be so large. &0 minutes should fit on a single VCD. Tmpgenc may be having problems with the WMV, as some WMV files are encoded with variable framerates, which can throw some encoders right off track.

    You must have done something wrong, a 70 minute VCD would fit on a 700mb cd.

    A VCD usually holds 80 min video, so 1.10 should fit nicely. Sure you used the VCD template in TMPGEnc? That size sounds more like what could be expected for SVCD.
