    Alright, i have this divx and want to make a vcd out of it, but i started decoding it to mpg, and ended up with a file of 1.6 Gig, which is a tiny bit too big

    So i was wondering how i could convert it, so that it will fit on one cd....

    VCD has fixed specs, so there is no way. Lower the bitrate to fit it on one CD (XVCD), use a bitrate calculator from the tool section. With lowering the bitrate you will sacrifice the picture quality.

    If your player support svcd, try out kingviperssvcd template.
