It might be helpful to have an option to "pad" the area around subtitles (lengthwise) when burning them to an image. Vertically speaking, its not a problem as you can just shift the position up and down to compensate for overscan.
I routinely use my iPod to export video to my TV, but often the beginning and ending of my subs get cut off due to the overscan. The only way I've been able to solve this is to shrink the image by 10% and use the letterbox feature under options to fill the space with black. This is an alright solution, but it reduces the quality (size) of the image. I would rather be able to specify an "off limits" area on the edges so when I burn my subs, they stay within titlesafe and don't get cutoff by my TV's overscan.
I know this is probably a pretty specific request, and their might not be much demand for it, but I thought I would suggest it anyhow.
