I have an assignment for class and i can't turn it in on dvd so here's my question. How should I export my mpeg edited master to vhs?

  2. Assuming you do not have direct audio/ video out connections on your computer, the simplest way would be to actually burn the DVD and then record it from a DVD player to VHS.

Your profile shows an AIW. Doesn't that have analog output capabilities to allow you to connect to a VCR?

I would think that would give you terrible results. If you don't want to use the AIW analog output then RowMan's suggestion should provide far better results than recording projected vid on a wall.
